The Nativity of the Lord | EXCLUSIVE

This authentic icon is part of the “EXCLUSIVE by Imperial Icons” series, which includes only selected artworks made by Holy Fathers in the Iconographic studio of Saint Gregoriou Monastery (Iera Moni Osiou Grigoriou) in Mount Athos and other Monasteries and Shrines all over the World. They are processed and replicated with high detail and top quality with respect to the Byzantine tradition and style. All Icon panels are covered with Natural Oak Wood and the reproduction is according to Museum print standards. The background is made of Gold leaves which are applied by hand. In the back there is also a Mounting point. In the back of the large sizes (11.0×14.9 in. or 28×38 cm. and 15.7×23.6 in. or 40x60cm) we replace the stand with two solid struts in order to reinforce the icon and avoid future warping.
