The icon is a truly beautiful piece. I love that Aramaic was used as it was a gift for an Assyrian Orthodox friend of mine. From an overly pedantic view, it would have been nice if the angels halo contained a cross in it as symbolic meaning of the angel is taken to be a precursor to Christ. That aside, I love it.
